The greatest way to teach for understanding to understand those you teach. This requires revelation through many different avenues! For any teacher who is hoping to use their time to discover what occurs in the missionaries' learning process this project is for you! This activity will allow not only your understanding to increase, but also your ability to teach the curriculum.
For the summer we'll be having a mock district experience every week on
Tuesday from 11am - 1pm, in 4M-409.
You can come to portray a missionary and learn from teachers, coordinators, or managers and from the Godhead what your missionaries are experiencing! OR you can seek to try a new application out and teach an activity yourself! If you are seeking to improve in some way in your teaching, practice and receive feedback here!
Every week we'll focus on an activity from the curriculum. (Ex: Demo Teaching, Revelation through Church, Lessons in Chapter 3, etc....) For the first hour we will have a teacher give an example of the activity, and the second will be evaluation, discussion, and study.
